Final Major Project

For my FMP I chose to do something that really interest's me which is Interior Design. I wanted to create a magazine cover with an editorial but with a slight twist. I decided that I wanted to explore a little bit of the history of interiors so I looked into 20th century interior design. From that I chose two of my favorite styles from that era which where Art Deco and Art Nouveau. These two styles where going to be part of my editorial. I researched artists such as Eileen Gray and Louis Comfort Tiffany. I created mood boards and several designs to go in to my magazine. I also researched Neville Brody and David Carson to get some inspiration for the lay out and style of my editorial. I created montages for Art Deco and Art Nouveau to go in my editorial which i made on Polyvore. For the front cover of my magazine I wanted to go for a more modern approach and decided to do a photo shoot of some newly renovated hotel apartments. With that I then edited the photos and created my design on photoshop.
